Nicole (‘Nikki’) has run her own consulting business for over twelve years, acting as an independent management and leadership development facilitator; as well as a part-time faculty member with SA’s top business schools in the area of learning integration and learning process facilitation.
Prior to starting her consulting business Nikki has worked as a teacher; in the corporate management environment working in a large mining organization within the field of organisational and leadership development; as well as within the area of leadership design, development and facilitation with local (GIBS, GIMT, USB-ED, DukeCE) and international (University of Michigan) business schools.
Nikki is the creator of a unique experiential business “EQUILIBRIUM” that presents workshops on the concept of “Authentic Leadership through the Eyes of Horses”.
Nadine is a Chartered Accountant. She completed her articles at Deloitte and shortly thereafter travelled to the USA where she worked in Los Angeles with Deloitte. When she returned to SA she took up a management position in Deloitte Entrepreneurial Services division.
Nadine has held various leadership positions over the years, most recently acting as the Chief Financial Officer of a large South African company, leading a finance department of 150 strong.
Given her passion for empowering individuals and establishing leadership values and behaviours, in 2015 Nadine decided to take on a new challenge of operating her own consultancy. This has allowed her to share the various skills she has acquired in a variety of business areas; finance, strategy development and leadership roles with others, with the aim of achieving sustainable transformation of individuals and the organisations within which they operate.
Nadine has been working as a facilitator with Equilibrium since 2015 and over time has taken on a more prominent role in the business.
Mpho is the Founder & Chairman of Epitome Investments (Pty) Ltd. He is the Chairman of the Board of ArcelorMittal SA. He further serves as the chairman of the board of Trustees at The New LoveLife Trust; Chairman of the global design agency The Brand Union (Pty) Ltd (SA & Africa) – a division of WPP Inc and Information Technology Alliance (ITNA) (Pty) Ltd. He is a trustee of the The Business Trust, the Vumelana Transaction Advisory Fund and the Vodacom Foundation Trust.
Mpho has experience across a wide range of businesses in both the private and public sectors. He was the Chairman of Eskom Holdings until his term concluded in June 2011 after having served on the board for almost nine years. He served the utility as the Interim CEO and Chairman between November 2009 and June 2010 and was appointed the Chairman of the Board on 11 June 2010. Prior to his full-time role as Chairman of Eskom, Mpho was a member of the group Exco at Edcon (SA’s largest CFTA Retailer) as the executive responsible for transformation and corporate affairs between 2006 and 2009.
In addition, he is also an independent non-executive Director on the boards of companies listed on the JSE, namely: Adcock Ingram Holdings Ltd (AIHLF.PK), Nedbank Group Ltd (NDBKF.PK), Nedbank Ltd and Sephaku Holdings Limited (SEPJ.J) and ArcelorMittal South Africa Ltd (ACLJ.J).
Mpho is a non-executive director and co-shareholder of Biotherm Energy (Pty) Ltd. He is also a non-executive Director of LR Management Group (Pty) Ltd, Associate Partner with the Strategy Communications Advisory firm Edelman and non-executive Chairman at the Boardroom Alliance (Pty) Ltd.
